Confirmations

Confirmation marks the point in the spiritual journey where those who have been baptized as children make a public commitment to the Christian faith.

Through prayer and the laying on of hands by a Bishop, the Church asks God to give those being confirmed power, to live the life of a true Christian. Each person’s spiritual journey is different; the undertaking of vows can take place at any age, but it is most often taken by young adults.
