FROM OUR PARISH NURSE.......

We have several parishioners trained to do pastoral visiting. If you know of anyone in need of visiting, please contact Susan Rodgers or one of the clergy.
Coming Up In Parish Health Ministry...
We are now into flu and cold season. Just a reminder to wash your hands frequently, particularly after blowing your nose, after visiting places where there are many people and before eating, cough into your sleeve and get the flu and/or pneumonia shot if applicable.
We have copies of a Senior's Emergency Kit. It's put out by HomeInstead and are papers organizing your health information, meds etc, in case of a visit to the emergency. There's a place for your main contacts, specials and agencies, meds, health history and a paper to note points for and after doctor's visits. Anyone wishing a copy for themselves or an elderly friend or relative, let me know.
The Health Ministry has purchased a self-help program for anxiety. Please see librarian for this resource.
Parish Nurse hours: Tuesday and Thursday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and every 4th Sunday.
