Notice of Annual General Meeting of Vestry for the 2025 Year: Sunday, February 22
All members of the vestry of Grace Church on-the-Hill are invited to our annual general vestry meeting on Sunday, February 22, immediately after church. As per Canon Law, the purpose of the general vestry meeting is to solely review the parish activities and finances of the 2025 year and to approve the 2026 operating budget as well as appoint and elect various officers of the parish. As our meeting will be taking place over the lunch hour, a light lunch will be offered.
According to church law, only members of the parish vestry can attend. Membership is defined simply by declaration and participation in at least two Sunday services. Furthermore, a person can only be a member of one vestry.
Finally, vestry reports and materials will be available Sunday, February 8th, two weeks before the meeting. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak with Fr. Don or one of the wardens.

Table Talks: Wednesdays, February 25 to March 25
Grace is hosting a series of dinner discussions around the foundations of the Christian faith and Anglican tradition in Lent. Join us in the reception room on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm beginning February 25 to hear about how we know God through reason and revelation, scripture, the sacramental life, and more from different clergy and scholars. Evening prayer is offered in the chapel at 5:30 pm. Free with donations accepted.

Drawing from the Treasures of Anglican Spirituality: A Morning of Recollection and Reflection: February 28, 9:00 - 1:00
You are invited to join us for a morning of reflection for the season of Lent. Led by Sr. Constance Joanna, a religious sister of the Sisterhood of St. John the Divine, we will explore the Benedictine roots of our Anglican tradition and spirituality and learn about the two great pillars of Anglican spirituality, Lectio Divina or Holy Reading, and the Daily Office.
Come and be refreshed by prayer, thoughtful reflection, fellowship with friends new and old, and enjoy a lunch together. All are welcome.
To register, email Fr. Don Beyers at dbeyers@gracechurchonthehill.ca. Please include any dietary restrictions you may have in your message.

Although the retreat is free for all participants, we welcome donations of $25 per person to help support Grace Church on-the-Hill and its many ministries, including retreat days such as this one.
