Ordained in 2016 by Archbishop Colin Johnston, Fr. Don has served as a parish priest in two parishes. Prior to ordination, Don spent over 25 years in ministry in educational and parish settings.

I have been serving as a priest in Toronto since 2020, and I was previously serving at St. Thomas’s Anglican Church on Huron St near the University of Toronto campus. I am originally from Hawai’i, but I have been in Canada for nearly a decade now.

The Venerable Peter J.C. Scott

Honorary Assistant

Archdeacon Peter Scott served as a priest in the Anglican Diocese of Niagara for over 30 years. He concluded his ministry in the fall of 2025 as Rector of St. Mark’s Anglican Church, Orangeville. Previous to his ministry in Orangeville, he was Rector of St. James, Port Colborne, and prior to that as an Assistant Curate at St. Luke’s, Burlington.

Katherine Beattie

Rector's Warden

Katherine Beattie is the Rector's Warden at Grace Church on-the-Hill. After 25 years as a stock market and currency analyst Katherine chose to become a stay-at-home mom. She was actively involved in both the Maurice Cody P.S. and Greenwood Parent Associations.

Nathan Hiltz

People's Warden

Nathan Hiltz serves as both Musical Artist In Residence and People's Warden at Grace Church on the Hill. He leads Tiny Guitars, a community initiative providing complimentary guitar classes every Monday to both children and adults and curates the Sacred Concert Series.

Joel Aguirre Juárez

Deputy Warden

Joel Aguirre Juárez moved to Toronto from Mexico with his family and has been grateful to find a church home at Grace Church on-the-Hill. With a professional background in leadership and operations, Joel values faith, community, and service, and is thankful for the friendships and support he has found through the parish.

Sharon Zister-Farhadpour

Deputy Warden

Sharon Zister-Farhadpour serves as a Deputy Warden at Grace Church on-the-Hill. With a professional background in social work, Sharon has held a variety of front-line and leadership positions within the social service and mental health fields over the last two decades.

George Luxton

Deputy Warden

George Luxton serves as a Deputy Warden at Grace Church on-the-Hill, and he is also chair of the Stewardship Committee. His professional experience includes a long-term experience in telecommunications and software sales and other sectors.

Mr. Anderson was with Ernst & Young LLP from 1968 to 1993, where he served as an audit partner from 1979 to 1993 providing accounting and auditing services to large Canadian private and public companies in many industries...

Savannah Boddy

Managing Director

With a background in education and the arts, Savannah was originally connected to Grace Church through the dance school that she owned and directed. Hired by a former priest at Grace, she designed and executed a children's program called 'Gifts of the Spirit'.

Maggi Linan

Engagement and Family Life Minister

Maggi Linan is originally from Mexico and now lives in Toronto with her family. With a caring and creative spirit, she enjoys contributing to the community and being part of the projects that strengthen church life.

Sarah Hicks

Director of Music

Mezzo-soprano Sarah Hicks completed her degree in Performance Voice at McGill University's Schulich School of Music. After returning to Toronto Ms. Hicks began her career as a singer, conductor and educator.

Stéphanie Gouin

Organist & Office Administrator

Dr. Stéphanie Gouin is a young organist, collaborative pianist, and voice coach from the Southern Ontario area. Starting the piano at age 15, she dove into the serious study of classical music head first.

Tamdin Dorjee

Tamdin Dorjee was born and raised in Tibet. He moved to Toronto in 2018 and found a new home at Grace Church, where he took on the role of property manager. He has been working here for seven years, and each day has been filled with purpose and fulfillment. Tamdin enjoys every task, whether overseeing maintenance projects or engaging with congregation members. Before that, he worked at Arohanui Mental Health Care Ltd, Bournemouth, UK for 12 years as a support worker.

Albeiro Urrego

My name is Albeiro Urrego, and I am originally from Colombia. I have been working at Grace Church on-the-Hill for 13 years as a custodian. I truly enjoy the community of people that work and attend Grace. The staff, patrons and children that attend are incredible people and it is a joy to come to work everyday.

My name is Lobsang Tenpa, I was born in Tibet and I came to Canada in 2006. I have worked for many years serving in community service with at risk youth and love working with and meeting members and friends of Grace.
